The pond has been dug! We have filled it with water and put in some water plants. We are waiting for the water to warm up so we can add some tadpoles. We have a tadpole that has 4 legs and is nearly a frog. As soon as he starts climbing on the rock we will put him in the pond.

How exciting, I was lucky enough to see the first tadpole go into the pond this afternoon. His legs had grown strong enough for him to try and climb out of the water in the classroom. Lucky Mrs Tamblyn saw him, otherwise he may have jumped into someones tote tray during the night!!
Room 2 you have made a great job of building the pond, how lucky to have it just outside your classroom.
